Our Story
LOURVIÉN London was founded by two sisters — Liz and Niz — each bringing a distinct discipline to a shared vision. Liz brings close to two decades of experience in the London fashion industry, including nearly ten years in leather product development and private-label creation for London boutiques. Niz leads creative the visual identity and aesthetic language of every collection.
The brand takes its name from London — a city whose neighbourhoods give each style its identity. Every piece in the collection is named after a London address: a quiet acknowledgement of where the work begins.
LOURVIÉN is built around a specific gap in the leather market. The jackets that shaped our aesthetic — structured, refined, versatile enough to move from office to evening — existed almost exclusively within price brackets most women cannot justify. What remained at accessible price points was largely directional: biker cuts, oversized silhouettes, trend-led shapes that dated within a season.
We set out to occupy the space between. Jackets with the construction and material integrity of a luxury purchase, at a price point that respects the buyer's intelligence. Limited runs. Considered design. Nappa leather chosen to improve with age rather than deteriorate with wear.
Every LOURVIÉN garment is designed in London and handcrafted in Turkey in a specialist atelier with over 24 years of continuous leatherwear expertise — by artisans for whom leather is not one of many materials, but the only one.
Our Vision
Our vision is simple, though perhaps unfashionable: to create leather jackets that endure long enough to be passed from one generation to the next.
Not discarded after a handful of seasons. Not forgotten as trends evolve. But worn, lived in and shaped by the life of the person who owns them until, one day, they are entrusted to someone else who recognises their quality and continues their story.

We produce in limited quantities by intention, allowing every silhouette to be developed through careful refinement before it enters production. Each garment is handcrafted by specialist artisans and individually inspected at every stage, ensuring it meets the standards upon which the house is built.

FOUNDER’S MESSAGE
For much of my career, I worked behind the scenes of leather fashion—developing collections, sourcing exceptional materials, and working alongside artisans whose expertise has been refined over decades. It taught me that leather is unlike any other material. It reveals the quality of every decision: the precision of the pattern , the balance of the construction, the character of the skin itself. There is little room for compromise, and that is precisely what makes it enduring.
LOURVIÉN London was born from a simple belief: that a leather jacket should transcend the season it was created for. It should possess the clarity of thoughtful design, the integrity of exceptional craftsmanship, and the quiet confidence to remain relevant for years to come.
Together with my sister, Niz, we created a house devoted entirely to that philosophy. While I focused on product development and construction, Niz shaped the visual identity of the brand—bringing a shared appreciation for restraint, proportion, and the subtle details that reveal themselves over time rather than all at once.
Every LOURVIÉN piece is designed in London and handcrafted in Turkey by artisans whose craft reflects generations of knowledge. We work with responsibly sourced leather, produce in limited quantities, and value permanence over excess. Each style is named after a London neighbourhood—a tribute to the city that shaped our creative perspective and continues to influence the way we design.

Craftsmanship
At LOURVIÉN London, craftsmanship is the foundation.
Each piece is designed in London and brought to life in Turkey, where master artisans construct every garment individually using time-honoured techniques. This one-artisan approach ensures precision, consistency, and a level of control beyond mass production.
We work exclusively with certified leather suppliers, selecting skins for their depth, texture, and long-term performance. Every material is chosen not only for its appearance, but for how it evolves, how it moves, softens, and matures over time.
Production is intentionally limited.
We do not produce in volume, but with intent.
Each garment undergoes a rigorous quality control process, where construction, fit, and finish are carefully evaluated before approval.
The result is leatherwear defined by structure, restraint, and longevity—designed to be worn, lived in, and kept.
